Chucky says ‘A BLUE WAVE is coming, as BLUE as my fuckin’ eyes!’” Mancini also posted a photo of a Chucky doll with blue hair instead of his trademark reddish locks and wrote: “Too bad, Nicki! No AI, by the way!” This is not the first time Minaj has used Chucky on social media.

She used an image of the killer doll in January when attacking journalist Don Lemon over his coverage of anti-ICE protest, for instance. Don Mancini started the franchise in 1988 with “Child’s Play” and most recently created the “Chucky” television series, which ran for three seasons between 2021 and 2024.

In the one of the show’s early episodes, Chucky says “I have a queer kid,” referring to his offspring Glen/Glenda (who debuted in the 2004 movie “Seed of Chucky”). The “Chucky” series, which aired on SYFY and USA Network, was canceled after three seasons in September 2024.

The last feature film was “Cult of Chucky,” which was released in 2017.
